View Full Version : Shot Blocking & Goal Tending
Is is legal to block a shot ball at any point in its trajectory, assuming you are still within your height requirements? (Unlike real basketball, where you can not touch the ball on its downward trajectory.)
Can you throw a ball to block the shot ball by another team?
Thanks!

I don't find any rules that would disallow either of those actions.
Who's doing the throwing? An Inbounder can only throw in the final 30 seconds.
look at G20, may be tough to accomplish.
Sorry, we didn't define shooting th ball WITH A ROBOT.

Our team has been going through the rules and I have not seen anything againest it if you are within your height limits.

If you are trying to block, I'm guessing you want to be near your opponent's hoops and you can only be 60 inches tall versus your 84 inch opponent. G20 is the only thing that may prevent this, but I don't see anything specifically saying it isnt legal.
If you shoot another ball to block a shot and dp so successfully, then I applaud your ability to do so intentionally.

It appears to be legal but unlikely.
