Bridge Angles

So my team has been looking through the manual, but can't find any information on whether or not the bridges reset to level after a robot has crossed, or if they stay in their position once crossed. The relevancy is that the bridges are normally 12" off of the ground, but once in their raised position, the top is at 24".

Does anybody know if the bridges reset to level, or if they just stay to the side that was used most recently?

Is there a specific rule that says that? I'm not doubting you, but I want to be absolutely sure.

The double hinge makes the bridge return to horizontal
