Wow, that's really good... What are you using to vector? I use Inkscape... But my vectors never turn out very good...

I used Photoshop. Most people do it wrong though so what comes out isn't actually a vector.

ahhh Photoshop... I only have access to it for 1 hour a day in graphics class, and then another 2 hours every week night and 9 hours on Saturdays because we have robotics in that room.... Anywho... Photoshop is soooooo much better than GIMP... I hate to hate on GIMP.... but really.... its just so awesome..

Once you go to Photoshop, you never go back. I can't stand to use GIMP any more; it just doesn't make sense to me.

(to everybody) Out of curiosity, why do you use Photoshop over Illustrator for vectors? I'm betting that Photoshop is more...available, but other than that, Illustrator is far better for vector work IMO.

Because our competitions on the West Coast started at about 9:00 AM, it meant we barely missed the episode (because there wasn't any legitimate Wifi in the stands) so we unfortunately had to wait several hours before watching the episode.

It was so much easier when the new eps aired at 7:00 AM PST. Sure it was kinda early, but at least Robotics wouldn't completely get in the way.

We've got WiFi across the whole campus at the U of M, which is really useful because I can access the much faster official network instead of the guest one (student access), but they shut down all the access points in the building. I guess we might have Joseph bring his laptop to wherever we go to lunch.

42 teams

We got the cooperation bridge once and scored in autonomous NS teleop on occasion.

We ended with 42nd place (42 is the meaning of life and the universe)!

We will do better next year and have a good competitions, plus welcome to the herd delsaner!

Congrats! 42nd place... I'd have to say, if they weren't so excited about winning and stuff some of the higher up teams might even be jealous. :P

My team only placed 4th to last or so, I'm not sure exactly, but it was somewhere around there... Last year our robot barely worked and we placed higher, but this year it worked and we placed lower. In the end the important thing is that the rookie members who make up the majority of our team were inspired and will try much harder next year. :)

I used to be disappointed that I didn't get to nationals because we couldn't keep competing, but now I'm more disappointed because I can't get/see all the great pony paraphernalia. Oh well.

On a a different topic, I've seen some people with bars, like the TBA ones but thinner, for the Mane 6 in their sigs. Anyone know how to make or get them? Specifically, one of Rainbow Dash.

Man I was surprised at how many bronies I met at St. Louis. It was awesome! Why do i only find this thread as soon as I come back from St. Louis. I missed the buttons! I was going up and down the pits everywhere to find those allusive pony buttons, but to no avail! LOL People kept on telling me they were from teams that didn't even exist. :S

Oh my god, that reminds me of a hilarious story. There was a team that I had to return a bin to named Where's Waldo. I could not find them ANYWHERE. They were on the pit map, but they were completely gone. It's not like even an empty space was there. I spent half an hour looking for a team that apparently never existed. It turns out that they had their pit moved somewhere else and they were already packed up and gone.
