| Can I just keep nominating people and getting more reputation points? |
| No. You may submit as many nominations as you would like, but you may only receive reputation points for four of those nominations. |
| Why are my points taking so long to be added to my account? |
| Unfortunately, the UFH process is a three tiered system. Your nomination must pass through all ranks before you get all 45 of your points. This process may take a while. You will receive your first points once we clarify that you have submitted a valid and acceptable nomination. You will receive your second set of points if your nomination passes onto the second stage, where we vote on the honoree. You will receive your third set of points once your Unsung FIRST Hero is posted on the UFH page, twice a month. |
| Why did I only receive my first/second set of points? Where are the rest? |
| We cannot always accept and pass on every nomination. Depending on the vote of the committee, the nomination may not pass the first or second stage of voting. |
| Why do Woodie Flowers Award winners get points too? I thought you guys only concentrated on UNSUNG FIRST Heroes? |
| WFA winners are what we equate to be FIRST Heroes that have been recognized and honored with their achievements. We would like to see all of the Unsung FIRST Heroes recognized for their achievements, also. We believe that the winners of both of these awards are great leaders and mentors that have risen above and beyond the call of their duty as a volunteer. They are role models for FIRSTers everywhere, and should be awarded with points for their reputation as a part of it. |
| What happens if I nominate myself? |
| There is nothing wrong with nominating yourself. The committee does not look at who the nomination was written by, only at the nomination itself. You do not need to create a second account on Chief Delphi Forums or ask a friend to nominate you. Your personal nomination is just as credible. |
