Re: Problem With cRIO.

It is in the manual for setting up your control system. This year the slots and modules are moved to match the 4 slot C-Rio. So slots 1-3 would be analog, digital, solenoid. It sounds like you just have them in the wrong order.

Re: Problem With cRIO.

the new imaging tool has the diagram of your cRIO on the right. hover your mouse over any slot in red. when you connect your computer to the cRIO and scan, and any module on the right is red, hover over it and it will tell you the problem. also if you hover over any empty slot, it will tell you what can go in there. we had the same issue today. your code might have to change your ports are. i am not sure. you should probably check what the new WPI library default is. hope this helps ^_^ (gonna keep watching this. our code does not work either, so i hope we both get help ^_^)

good luck, and go teams!

Check out the Java Getting started guide at:

Page 15 and 16 detail the changes to the module order and how they are referenced.

Re: Problem With cRIO.

thank you so much for that post. i found out what was wrong with my code, and maybe with yours as well. for a digital side care in slot 2, you program it to be in slot 1. if it is in slot 6, program it as slot 2. they remade the entire lib and image so for as to work with the mini cRIO easier. personally, i liked it better the other way, but i hope this helps you too.

static Jaguar one= new Jaguar(1, 3); //makes a jag for slot 2 on the cRIO and PWM 3 (sense made to me? 0)

good luck, and go teams! ^_^

That's correct. The first module of any type (slots 1-3) are number 1 and the second module of any type (slot 5-7) is number 2. In previous years we used the slot number. This year we are using the module number.
