Team 1124's Pet Robot
Today, with all the attention going towards our new robot, last year's model got a little lonely around the shop, so our programmers decided to take it for a walk. We couldn't find a leash, but we did have a red cloth...

That... is soo cool. Done using standard camera vi's? Or did you not use LabView for programming?

Re: Team 1124's Pet Robot
We used the MJPEG loop and get image VI in our LabVIEW code. We used NI Vision Assistant to tune the image processing, then used those VI's and values in our robot code to mimic the tests. This found the fabric's center, which we used to tell the robot how far to drive left or right.

I'm hoping you took control of it at the end and drove it off because it kinda looked like it was making a run for it =P

Re: Team 1124's Pet Robot
Now make it charge at the red cloth and you'll be the creators AND the first ones to ever play Bull-fighting v2.0

Re: Team 1124's Pet Robot
Team 854's rack and roll robot once deeked out our principal and accosted him with a tube for wearing a green shirt.... Omnidirectional drive took him by surprise! "Hmm, that thing over there is big and green... it needs a tube- get back here!"
