FIRST Team Updates

I have searched - I may have missed it...

I will still ask.....

How do I save the Team updates in printed form...???????

Comment: Personally I like the PDF format that FIRST has used in the past - but that may be just me.

If you're using Chrome, or if you can use a Mac, you can "Print to PDF." That's what I normally do for websites that I want to save.

I'll also +1 that comment. I liked the PDF format much better.

Copy and paste to your favorite HTML editor, and print it.

I think we're all supposed to have access to the interwebs at all times these days....

Can't you just print from http://frc-manual.usfirst.org/TeamUpdates/0 ?

Yes, you can, sort of. On my computer it has the upper right menu bar overlaid over each page. Kind of hard to read.

You could try a program that prints anything as a pdf file. There are several freeware versions available, like PrimoPDF.

Not sure if this is a browser-specific option, but there is a "Save as PDF" button at the top right of the screen.

EDIT: Checked this with Chrome, Firefox and *shudder* Internet Explorer. It's there in all of them

Not on the Updates. That's what you use for the Manual sections.

Oh, and did anybody else notice that they're separating the Game and Administrative updates this year? That's minorly annoying...

Ah.

I also saw that. I was thoroughly confused when I saw it.

Mike,
While it is obvious that the updates and manuals are optimized for the Droid and iPhone apps, I have reminded my contacts at FIRST that we need documents in pdf form for teams and officials to keep handy on their laptop computers. As Bill's Blog alluded to last week, they know they have an issue and they are working on it.
