Windriver Liscencing error

So our wind river was working fine for a while and then suddenly we started to get a licensing error whenever we attempted to connect to the c-rio saying that:

"mpc83xx is not licensed

target communication tcp/ip
target ip 10.21.30.2
target port 0x4321"

help would be really appreciated

My team has the exact same problem. I'll post if we figure it out.

Re: Windriver Liscencing error

You have to set the processor manually when creating the remote connection. See the last instructions on Page 6 of the C++ Getting Started Guide:

Re: Windriver Liscencing error

We were having the same issue. Turns out Windriver is particular about where it's installed and other version of WR installed there. We uninstalled ALL Windriver components, deleted the directors involved, and reinstalled the latest and greatest. Don't forget the updates!

This worked for us, I hope it works for you too!
