CAN problems

having issues getting the can to work, the CRIO is formatted for it we have them hooked up correctly and we made sure the jaguars were updated to the most recent firmware. when we load the code absolutely nothing happens even trying the example code won't work. it gives me this error: ERROR <Code> -1073807246 occurred at NetComm_CAN_Send.vi:3
VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0072) The resource is valid, but VISA cannot currently access it.

EDIT: found out that problem, I just used the safety configurations and upped the timeout on the jaguar. New problem is that it turns out I updated to an old firmware version (92 as opposed to 99) could someone link me to the most recent firmware?

What you said you did to fix the problem doesn't match what I thought the error indicated. It's been pointed out in other threads that you need to disable the CONSOLE OUT switch on the cRIO if you want to use the Serial-to-CAN gateway plugin.

yes I noticed that when I reimaged the CRIO I flipped the switch and retried and got a time out error so I then changed the time out on it only to find out that the jaguars' firmware was out of date. after much searching I finally found the firmware hidden away in a corner on the texas instruments website (honestly they should fire their webmaster, organization on that website is horrible) and after updating can was now working.
