Windriver - Date errors!

Hello,
So, my team, 131, purchased a new laptop from some store, which I think was BestBuy, and it was a demo laptop; the business renewed the computer to its "Manufacturer's setting," but some files were apparently created in the future (i.e. March 5th, 2012) and we now receive an error message from WindRiver claiming that our license is not valid, because a time error has occurred.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Thanks,
Joshua Allard, CHAOS 131.

You can run a program called "touch" and change all the dates to something in the past.

Alright, well I downloaded a program called touch, but the program user guide says to access a WINFILE.INI file, but the closes thing that I could find was a WIN, that has the section called [Extensions], but the document references [AddIns]; is that the same file, but a different version? Am I even looking at the right touch program? It had the features listed that I wanted, but is it the valid one?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge in this,
Joshua Allard

Where did you get the touch program?

Softpedia, I believe. It was the only version I could find, for touch is a very common word!
I don't know If I entirely trust the site; that's why I'm waiting before I actually do anything.

Try here... http://sourceforge.net/projects/unxutils/

And this thread is about someone looking for the same utility...
