Do you need the whole sheet of plywood? why is there a stack stopping the bridge from over turning?

Re: Ramp approach

We were only concerned with bringing the ramp down, and we had to simulate the 15 lbs of counter weight from the otherside. It was our understanding that it takes 15 lbs to push the ramp down, so we made it so. the only problem was that our ramp did not take 15 lbs to push it down, hence the counter weight , hence the blocks of wood
