Calculate Shooter Exit RPM

I was having trouble calculating the exit RPM for our shooter. We can change the angle of our shooter. We are using the camera and a sonar to find the distance to the hoop.

I'm not sure if we would need anything else also other than the angle and distance.

Has anyone had luck calculating? Or is there anything better we could do?

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Calculate Shooter Exit RPM

I'm having a bit of trouble myself. The RPM is significantly altered depending on the load. And I don't know how to account for how long the ball contacts the wheel. I've got the figures on rpm, amps, torque, etc. but it looks like i'm just going to have to take experimental data instead: voltage vs distance/height.
