Where to get wires to hook up sensors

I was just wondering where I could get the wire, headers, and crimpers to assemble my own cables for the sensors. I haven't really been able to find anything around the internet.

If that isn't possible, could someone link me to somewhere that has female [2 and 3 pin] cables.

Digikey offers most everything that pertains to wire, headers and the crimping tools. You should have also received a $50 gift card in this year's KOP. :D

Use the wires provided in the KOP. You will have to cut and/or splice them.

1. Digikey, alright...
2. Already used all the wires with the KOP

ps-> already used the $50 on jaguars

Edit: so I went to Digikey. I then saw that there was over 3000 pages in their catalog. Could someone tell me the names of what I need, because I have no clue.

I've always been happy with stuff from Hansen Hobbies.

That one looks good, thanks

I have had good luck with these.

They are not designed for soldering directly to wires, but you can if you are careful. They are also a bit flimsy unless you encapsulate them with epoxy or hot glue and heat shrink. But they are cheap, they do not require a custom crimping tool, you can cut them to any length, and they can produce a robust custom connector if you take some care. I also think that using them encourages students to improve soldering and assembly skills.

Almost any wire you could possibly need is available on McMaster.

This is what I ended up going with:

Everything's pre-crimped and ready to go.
