using Vex motor

So basically I programmed the controls to run a victor type motor on a PWM port 4. And well if I plug in a victor motor it will function properly but when I plug in the vex motor it does nothing. I'm using a vex 2 wire motor with a motor controller cable with a female to female adapter cable.

its da PAT!!! 08-02-2012 01:35

Many thread have already been over this, but you need to you use the motor controller that comes with the vex motor. Plug it into the same port and next to it put a jumper. That jumper provides ~6v of power for the motor to work. Now far as programming I could not tell you how to program it. I'm sure the other 10 threads will tell you.

Re: using Vex motor

You should be programming it right, the common mistake is just that the jumper is not in place to provide power to the motor controller. You would connect it just like a servo since the motor needs to be powered by the Sidecar.
