[Post your team's progress here!]

This thread is to get a general standing on where everyone is at this build season.

Team 1939 has a working drive train and an almost working manipulation system. The programming is almost finished.

Post your team's progress below!

Team 1296 is where we planned to be, we have our frame driving flawlessly and our gathering system is working great too. Just waiting for our shooter to come in!:D

Team 2171 has a working drivetrain, working shooter that will probably be attached to the frame today, we are just waiting on parts from gates to assemble our conveyor/ pickup mechanism

Mentoring a rookie team of youngsters (8th-10th grade) is fun! We've made our bumpers so far. This is the first time any of us have done sheet metal, so it's taken a while to learn how to do it correctly and there have been setbacks along the way. However, we have an awesome sponsor that is donating laser cutting, bending, and the metal itself, Our chassis should be in today. If all goes well, we'll have a driving robot by the end of the night, and the feed system and shooter assembly should be drawn up and ready for manufacture tomorrow.

For 2-3 hours a day, I'd say we're doing alright.

Well, my team built our first conceptual prototype, so we have since disassembled (Squash, dead; disassemble, dead. Aohh! NO DISASSEMBLE!) that. We are now working on our lexan-y meatal-y pre-production model. We have a solid turret that works great and a good conveyor system. We're doing great!

The team up here, 4392, has yet to get it to move. I am hoping that changes tomorrow. I am their only mentor familiar with this stuff and they started 3 weeks late. Also we only meet 3 time a week, so I think we aren't far behind compared to other teams if they started 3 weeks late.

We're where we're supposed to be, however that doesn't mean we're on time, since you're never on time in the build season.

Also, to the 5 people who say they are ahead, please reevaluate what you said. The only way you can be ahead in the build season is if you...

Thanks, but that's the prototype :-)

The real one is in a paint booth somewhere.

My team, 4378, is very behind. We're a rookie team this year, so I guess that explains it. Everyone is working their hardest though, and I'm sure we'll pull through. Seeing "Behind" as the most voted-for option is very reassuring!
