Question about the Character count for WFFA

Hi all,
My team is submitting a Woodie Flowers Award this year but we keep running into a question concerning the 3,000 character limit. Does anyone know if spaces are included in the character when you submit it in STIMS? Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about the Character count for WFFA

Yes. Also, for whatever reason, I've found that the submission software sometimes counts slightly differently from Word or Openoffice, so be prepared to pull another 10 characters or so out if you turn out to be over.

And tabs, paragraph breaks, etc. all count as well.
