Motor controller question

Hi,

Reversing polarity for a motor reverses direction, so does switching the wires on the motor controller do the same?

May sound stupid, but I just want to make sure switching the connection from the motor to controller will not hurt the controller.

Re: Motor controller question

Switching the motor leads reverse the motor's rotation, and won't do anything harmful to the controller (unless you happen to swap a motor lead with a power wire).

Re: Motor controller question

You could also reverse direction with software. Make your speed a negative number and the motor will spin in reverse.
