They come standard in 3/8-24 thread. As to the inside thread, I am 95% that it is a left hand #10-24. BUT... I am also fairly sure that it is not a standard left hand thread. Something in my brain from days gone by tells me that it is a slightly enlarged thread. Anyway, you can buy left hand bolts from McMaster-Carr as well. Go to McMaster.com & find part number: 91670A245 HOWEVER, I think you will be much happier if you buy the proper screw from the Bosch Drill Service center. I have one on my desk at the office. I will get the part number and post it tomorrow -- remind me if I forget. Joe J. |
Left Hand #10-32?

The #10 seems right, but the pitch is finer. I suppose that it is a #10-32 Left Hand Thread. BUT.... I have the Bosch Part Number (at least as of 1997 when we purchased these screws) : 3603430505 Good luck. Joe J. |
Order the screws from SB Power Tool

When I mentioned that I needed the left hand threaded screws he knew exactly what I wanted. I don't have the FIRST rules handy, but their number is in the supplier contact list. Last year they ran out early so call soon. I just ordered some at $1.50 each. |
