Are you Guy using image processing to auto adjust the speed of your launcher?

The ball pickup material is shelf liner from Home Depot, very high tech.

We are using the camera imaging to set direction of the turret, at this point we have not incorporated a correction for distance.

Looks like this year robbe bought a xerox machine and set it to 60%. I guess there is no harm in making something similar to a very good machine.
