What kind of solvent or glue is needed to laminate polycarbonate?

I don't know what glue we use whenever we need to stick two or more polycarb sheets together, but regardless, we always put a few screws in just for good measure. The stuff taps so well, it is an easy method to provide a bit of insurance against a laminate becoming a de-laminate ;-)

The solvent cement we use routinely for polycarbonate 'welding' is Weld-On 3 from IPS Corp. PO Box 379 Gardena CA 90248 (no affiliation whatsoever). It contains Methylene Chloride (strong paint/varnish remover) and Trichloroethylene - both known cancer-causing agents. Needless to say extra precautions should be taken when handling. Respirator/rubber gloves/goggles/long sleeves should be worn. It bonds quickly - but requires an overnight cure for high strength.

Formaldehyde (sp?) A little bit goes a long way and it goes without saying about the safety issues.
