jaguar problems

::rtm:: do you have to have a jaguar for each motor?
What i mean in this is can you splice 2 motors into 1 jaguar or will the safety inspector just frown at it :(

You may not control more than one motor per speed controller.

R46:
Quote:

Each power-regulating device (speed controller or relay module) shall control one and only one electrical load (motor, actuator, electric solenoid, or compressor).

Exception: Multiple low-load, pneumatic solenoid valves or lights may be connected to a single relay module. This would allow one relay module to drive multiple pneumatic actions or multiple lights. No other electrical load can be connected to a relay module used in this manner.

You can not control more than one motor with only one jaguar. You'll need a second speed controller if you wish to control another motor.

You are allowed to split the PWM cable running into the speed controller, however. A cable that does this was included in the Kit of Parts.
