If anyone's buying last minute batteries in Manchester at Batteries Plus, there's a $5 coupon here: http://www.batteriesplus.com/printcoupons.aspx?sid=401

Sadly 176 wont be attending BAE this year, but a few members of the team will be traveling up Saturday to watch the end of qualifications, and root on our favorite New England teams in eliminations.

Cant wait to see old friends. Good luck teams!

No luck for me either. Didn't this happen last year?

Is it me or is the webcast still down?

So far as I can tell, it is still down. Anyone from Code Red want to discuss what the status of the webcast is going to be?

I also am trying to watch the webcast but it still isn't on air. Is there any chance that the match videos will be archived? where would I be able to find them?

Team 1519, Mechanical Mayhem, has really enjoyed this year's new "Coopertition" feature! Admittedly, it has taken us a few matches to get used to the sudden switch from playing "New England Defense" against another robot to suddenly working with them in the delicate maneuver of balancing the bridge!

Thanks to 3467 and 78 for balancing with us on the coopertition bridge, as well as our other alliance members who joined us on our own alliance's bridge!

It was fun to be in the first coopertition balance of the day -- we especially appreciated the field reset crew giving us the extra 30 seconds to take a photo!

In recent years, we always seem to be opposing team 78 in elimination rounds - it was great to be able to cooperate with them even though we were on opposing alliances!

After we were balanced on the bridge with team 78, who also have a "wide" robot like ours, we wondered if a third wide robot might be able to squeeze on there for a 3-robot balance? We're not sure if it is possible, but it would be fun to be on an elimination alliance with two other wide-format robots to see if it can be done!

A big thanks to our alliance partners, #2791 Shaker Robotics and #885 THE GREEN TEAM... you guys were brilliant! We really brought the best out of each other, forming an alliance stronger than the sum of our components! We had a great run, but couldn't stand up to the champions...

Speaking of which... a very big congratulations to the winning alliance of #131, CHAOS; #58, Riot Crew; and #1831, Screaming Eagles! You guys were fantastic!

#1058, PVC Pirates, I can certainly say on behalf of all of #1519 that we were so thrilled that you won!

Ralph Newell from #58 certainly deserves congratulations also... It's so exciting to see these great mentors getting some recognition!

Similarly, congratulations to Tristan Evarts from #1058 and our own Amelia Jennings - GSR's Dean's List Finalist! Amelia, we're so proud of you - your tireless work is invaluable and inspirational!

The BAE Systems' Granite State Regional was run so very smoothly, thanks to the meticulous effort of so many volunteers... another huge thanks is due!

So sad I didn't get to see any of the regional from VA but I'm hoping that some people have video of #1058 winning Chairman's!

Huge congrats to my "friend" team #131 and their alliance partners on their win as well!

I'm sure there's a laundry list of people who deserve some serious pats-on-the-back! Being GSR I'm sure it was a fantastic competition overall and kudos to all the teams! I couldn't imagine my #1 pick being anywhere else but GSR, but any New England teams looking to attend a second regional should definitely come down to Virginia and make it easy for me to decide who to root for!

A special thanks goes out to our alliance partners 1519 and 885. Without you our amazing run would not have been possible. Just to clear things up, we blew 4 drive victors in match F-2. We do not yet know the culprit, but it may end up to be a very expensive problem... Looking forward to a few days of troubleshooting on this one. We'd like to thank FTA Mark McLeod for helping us out during that timeout. Thanks so much. We look forward to working with 1519 and 885 in the future.

I would also like to congratulate 131, 58, and 1831 on winning the event. You guys did an amazing job.

We'll see everyone in Connecticut, and we're bringing even more New Yorkers with us this time.
