the shirt dilemma

actually, more specifically, the sweatshirt dilemma. Our team has a design for an awesome zip-up hoodie , but can't seem to find a place to make one inexpensively. We have a fairly small team, and we always pay for our mentors' gear, so we need to make them as cheap as they can while still being awesome. Know any good websites? the usuals like cafepress and customink aren't working out...

Local screen printers won't cut you a deal?

Try a local company. Mabey they would cut you a deal if you offered to put the company logo as a sponsor on your bot etc. If you are a school team who does your school get shirts from? That company may give you a better price. We went with a company that other school groups use and got a great deal.

Good luck on your shirts and at your regional

I'd also recommend going local. We have a really good guy down here in NYC who I would suggest if you guys were a little nearer by. The nice things about local shops are that you don't have to pay shipping (a team member can pick up the finished shirts) and they may be able to recommend ways to cut the cost of your design (certain color combinations require more work than others, at least if you're silkscreening).

Please send some more information to Alex@TwoPencilDesigns.com. We'll see what we can do for you.

Sizes, qty, colors, when do you need them by, and how much you willing to pay?

Thank You and Good Luck this season!
