I don't know about the Kettering District, but the Gull Lake District is having networking issues. FRCFMS isn't posting results to the FIRST website or Twitter for Gull Lake.

I didn't notice if Kettering was being streamed earlier today either, but the FIRSTinMichigan YouTube channel has posted videos of today's matches.

Kettering got going later in the afternoon. I probably got it around 2PM or so.

The biggest thing all of these seem to be missing is some sort of archival system, especially one that indexes the individual matches. The webcast for the San Diego Regional last year, I haven't checked it out this year, did this and it was great, but the sever was a little overloaded. I think FIRST in Michigan has come up with the best solution, all of the matches are uploaded to YouTube shortly after each match.

Also, it would be really nice if the first post was used as a running summery of this thread, it would make it a lot easier for people to find links to the webcasts they want to watch.

Yes, this would be nice. However, I asked a similar question in the thread that is trying to capture pictures of all of the robots (all of the regionals). The problem is, after about a day or so you can no longer edit your posts. Therefore this is almost impossible to do...

...I wish there was a way around this.

That is very unfortunate. Is there anything a Mod can do about this, like add exceptions for certain posts/threads?

Mods can edit/delete posts after a user cannot. However, I don't think that the exception for certain posts would be feasible (how many posts are there in a given day?); threads only slightly more feasible. I don't know much of anything about vBulletin coding, however, so I don't know for sure.

Also, this sort of exception-adding would probably be at a webmaster level instead of a moderator level. That's where posting this suggestion in the Forum Support subforum or dropping Brandon Martus a PM would be the best route.

In case you're thinking that I'm a moderator, I'm not. Some things you just pick up after being a forum member for too long.

Put it on FIRST Wiki - you can always edit that. ;)

It was good all morning, but it seems to have dropped. AT least for me.

Kansas City is lucky to have very good webcast coverage including archived and indexed match video ===> http://www.more.net/first-robotics
