Hi, I was just wondering if we could hook up the fisher price motor(just the motor) to the relay module instead of a speed controller so we could just turn the motor off and on and not regulate the speed. I know that in the manual it says that you shouldn't do this, but I was wondering if that is a rule, or just a hint.

Yes, it has to be on a speed controller due to the tremendous amount of current that it can draw. However, if you prefer a full forward/reverse with a switch, insert this into your code:

foo = 127 + (switch_fwd * 127) - (switch_rev * 127)
