CowScout Question
 

Hi! I was looking at CowScout and I like it. But I notice that the team list that it has for the Hawaii Regional is not the same as the list on the FIRST site. CowScout has some teams from Texas and NY that are not on the FRC list, and it does not have 1920, the LA team that is on the FRC list.

Why the discrepancy? Do you know which is correct?

When in doubt, use the FRC official list. 1920 added in to Hawaii--I remember having them on waiver a couple weeks ago in Fantasy FIRST.

Having a mismatch between the lists just means that someone hasn't updated from the FIRST list yet.

What about the extra teams on CowScout - TX and NY? Would they have signed up then dropped out of the Regional event? (We'd love to have them here, I got all happy when I saw some more out-of-state teams on the list, but then realized that they still weren't on the FRC list. Oh, well.)

Y'all should come on over and check out our regional sometime! We have a wicked good time and we're now up to 38 teams. Competition all the way from 359 down to the latest rookies, and 'Gracious Professionalism' - otherwise known as ALOHA - abounds.

Yep, that happens too.

You might find http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=98420 an interesting read if you have some free time. Every added and almost every dropped team shows up somewhere in that list (a few drops are in the free-agent pools).

The 2012 teamlists are a bit out of date. We'll start automatically updating them throughout the week.
