Team 868 TechPoint Foundation for Youth/Rolls Royce & Carmel High School

Drivetrain: Square-base Mecanum w/ Independent Adjustable Damping Suspension

Ball Collection: "V" funnels and traps balls - Front and Rear Horizontal Intake powered by Banebot Motor - Self Gapping Vertical Intake powered by AndyMark PG71

Shooter: Two 8" FIRST Wheels w/ Flywheel Reduced off of two Fisher Price 9015

Shroud: 16 deg adjustable by 2004 KOP Keyang Seat Motor w/ Flexible linkage to a lead screw

Turret: 180+ deg rotation by a 2008 KOP Keyang Window Motor friction pressed to belting.

Bridge Lower-er: Combined with Ball intake for efficiency - belt and linkage driven off of Banebot Motor

Programming/Electronics: Shooter PID controlled via optical encoder - Shroud shaft encoded off of motor - Turret encoded off of idler shaft encoder - Three optical switches to control ball location and count - Gyro Sensor for field directional and rotation locked drive - Camera Targeting

That thing is Excellent! And the unwritten ability to pickup from under the bridge has got to be a bonus.

What scares me the most is the little-to-no reaction from the crowd when the robot scores baskets and the thought that a missed shot would shock the crowd more than scoring.
