What the heck was the name of that dance they were doing at MSC? I've only seen it there. It was almost like an exercise dance.

I just watched a video of that on youtube, though it may have been the wrong video. What....exactly do you....do? How would you dance to that?

Umm, the dance mostly consists of the two moves used during the chorus of the song, best shown in the sequence from 2:37 of the video to 2:49.

I haven't heard it since.

It was a popular joke at my high school dances and it predated me, so it had spread to a small corner of northern Maine by 2005. I was surprised though when I put it on a playlist of awful music and none of my college friends had heard it.

I believe you are referring to the Turbo Hustle . A word of caution, the un-coordinated or rythmless need not apply as this dance will leave you in the dust.

The Victor Cruz salsa dance is clutch.

In Florida, I was taught the Roller Coaster. It is quite amusing, but I think Barry is better at explaining it.

The Ninjaneers, team 2868 (I think, don't quote me on the number) have one student make up dances, and they're very amusing to watch. And as he dances, all the rest follow him and pick up on his patterns. I must say they were very good and didn't stop all of Friday and Saturday, it was amusing.

Spam also has their own versions of the chicken dance and the macarena that are hilarious.

My 15 month old son will be giving lessons to anyone that woud like to learn the Turbo Hustle. He was singing it Sunday morning after MSC.

As for dancing I hear that the Killer Bees (33) are pretty good at the Cotton Eyed Joe, Macarena, and YMCA. Maybe they will have lessons at the Championship.
