Hi, we were just wondering if we could buy any type of tools from the small parts catalog and incorporate them into our robot. Does anyone know? Thanks..Mahalo

The entire catalog is fair game, but you have to stick to the rules regarding use (no using the motors you could buy as conductors of electricity, etc.).

Also, you have to stick to the $425 limit regarding stuff actually used on your robot.

P.S. On the subject of Small Parts, isn't it nice to actually have some room left in your Small Parts Inc. Allocations? Believe it or not, we may end up buying a sheet to Titanium as much to be able to say our robot HAS Titanium on it as for weight savings ;-)

Are others having the same experience?

The hand truck on page 411 is pretty neat.

We bought it, but we're not using it on the robot. Maybe we'll use it to transport the 'bot to and from the field.

The 10' rubber wheels were intriguing... but they didn't make the final design.

Also, the 24' folding plate would make a decent 'magic carpet' for 'lifting' an alliance partner.
