[FTC]: Illinois Technical Invitational (ITI)
 

For the last few years, I have been attending the Indiana Robotics Invitational (IRI), an event not sponsored by FIRST, instead organized by a number of Indiana FRC teams. The event has grown over the years to include the best of the best that FRC has to offer.

Our team FTC Team #5037 Got Robot? has decided to start this year the Illinois Technical Invitational (ITI) with the hopes that one day it will grow to be the FTC version of IRI (no dreams about it being that this year, btw). We haven't nailed down a location yet although we have a few venues in the Chicagoland area in mind. We are tentatively planning to do this the second weekend in June.

With that said, what we are asking now is two things:

1. FTC Teams in the Chicagoland area that would be interested in assisting us with pulling off this event
2. FTC Teams anywhere that would honestly be interested in receiving an invitation to this event.

Do you want to be able to say that you were at the very first ITI ever?
