Can any of you tell me the difference between red and blue 884 Victors?

The reds are the first gen and they're no longer legal for competition use. I think the switch over was around 2004.

They funtion the same and we still use them on practice/old robots.

There is no difference between the red and blue 884. IFI had a bunch of red labels that they finished off before transitioning to the blue. there was a lot of confusion when the change was made ca 2004 as I remember.

I recall there being a slight variation in what percentage of throttle they start off on. I think you can get a slightly slower speed all the way on the bottom end on the red ones.
