nature of solenoids
if i set an enum to a solenoid (on, off, forward, reverse), does that stay, or go back to default when it stops getting calls. I don't have any way to test this myself right now, so i was wondering if anyone knew from their experience

Re: nature of solenoids
The last setting you made stays until you change it or turn the robot off.
For instance, you can initialize a solenoid position in Begin and never change it. It will remain where you told it to go. In some cases, even turning off the robot might not change anything until you send it a new order after you've powered it up again later. Results are different if it's a single solenoid. Since they have a spring loaded home position they return to home when the robot is powered off and will start there when the robot is turned on, until ordered to move. |

Re: nature of solenoids
Mis-wiring or else SMC solenoids come with 12 volt coils , Pistons don't move by the code. We rebilled the last year logomotion Robot.
1. Solenoid tubed correctly, We Test solenoid manual override to see if it's a pressure. It is OK working 2. Solenoid wired correctly?? We use cRIO the old one . + power supply input - power supply return Solenoid Breakout: • We have Plug the Solenoid Breakout into the NI 9472 module installed in slot 3 of the cRIO 3. Software mycomp(5,5),//( pressureSwitchChannel, compressorRelayChannel) gripper_o(3,1),//(solenoid out(slot, channel) gripper_c(3,2),//(solenoid out(slot, channel) Minibot_o(3,7),//(solenoid out(slot, channel) Minibot_c(3,8),//(solenoid out(slot, channel) 4. So why our solenoid is not working, we change with another Solenoid, but the same symptom. AFR_TEAM 1946 |
