My school has a math meet today, but I'm not going. There weren't enough kids at my grade level. :(

Sign me up, Wayne. Don't need a day for that.

Three years away from 3/14/15 - set your calendars. What was all that talk about 11/11/11 , anyway??

Makes one wonder when Pi Day is observed in all the cyan countries, because 31 Apr isn't a real thing.

They celebrate PI day when it should be... the day that the earth has gone Pi radians around the sun :D
(180 degrees around the sun).

Or you could do 2PI radians so that it could align with FIRSTmas every year.

Everyone paused for reflection at 1:59:26 this afternoon, right?

GMT/Zulu? That's when the ISS crew would do that. OTOH, they're probably longing for pi of any sort when looking into that food locker.

Yes, pi is the golden boy among the irrational numbers, but I think we should all take a moment to appreciate some of the other, equally important irrationals, such as phi or e.

I had math class at that time. There was a pause in pie eating, and a large "WOOHOO!"

Yeah, Don. It's not like we invented it or anything. There is already Facebook presence and a place hawking stuff in anticipation of the date and time. No mention of GMT that I saw though. I was thinking of a more culinary celebration of the pumpkin, apple, lemon meringue, and chocolate cream varieties. This ratio between the circumference and diameter has been done to death. We should get back to ignoring calories. Grandma would approve! :D

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 14:03.
