We ran some wires/pneu tubing through 1x2 rectangle stock that made up our arm and the main support last year, and it made our robot look better but we were concerned about the effect of having a break or worse in the wires. It would take 10 mins plus to fix, because there was at least 8 feet of stock it had to pass through.

This year we did not run cables through, although we could have. We just used black cable tubing (as linked earlier in this thread) and used small wire clamps to hold it to the upright on the robot. The tubing was also used to guide cables from the PDB to the jags.

We've been switching away from tie wraps in many situations to Velcro straps, as you can get them at HD for about 10 cents each in rolls of 50.
