Starving balls is a perfectly valid strategy and I sometimes wonder when I see Inbounders giving power scorers ball after ball to use to score against them.

What is the highest scoring inbounder that any of you guys have ever seen? The greatest one that I have seen would be the inbounder for team 2928 who got 10 points on his own in Finals match one of Seattle Olympic (2 high goals, two medium goals).

I've noticed quite a lot of Inbounders making shots in high or mid in the last 30 seconds--"quite a lot" being a couple shots every five or six matches. It's amazing how close the missed shots come, too.
I think it's definitely beneficial to attempt a long-range shot in the last 30 sec--at the very least, to get your alliance more balls for a last couple shots before a balance attempt.
