1717 is very impressive with their game this year. However, I think the most accurate robot is 1056 from Hawaii. They missed 1 shot in 17 matches and perfect in hybrid.
Their OPR was 28.xx meaning that they attempted a lot of shots.

The CVR archive will still be available on Justin.tv for a few days, but due to their usage rights they will be deleted after then. This is done automatically and we have no control over it.

That being said, we did record everything locally and are working on an archive for all of the webcast footage and will have it available within a week or so. It will be a section on our website and ill make sure I post it here when its up and running. There will be an opportunity to download all the footage as well as view it in browser.

Thanks to our alliance partners The Devil Duckies 1266 and Dark Matter 2643. Being 8th seed is always an uphill battle, but we definitely gave it a good shot, especially in QF 1-2.

As for match video, we recorded full field match video for the entire event and will work on getting it up on YouTube as soon as possible.

Team 3256 would like to thank Andrew Schreiber and Stacey Lee for their quick inspection of our robot. We were a late coming into the regional (Thursday afternoon) as our students could not miss any more days of school.
They were extremely helpful with the inspection process and together we were able to get inspected in less than 15 minutes.

Additionally, we may or may not hold the record for the first entirely outdoor robot inspection, sans the weighing and measuring. :p

I double that thanks to Andrew Schrieber. He helped us with robot inspection when we were having some odd problems quickly and thoroughly. Plus, he watched a demonstration of our automatic brake mode.

CVR was a blast, and I can't wait for next year!

When Championship was at Epcot, pretty much everything was outdoors (albeit under canopies).

Congratulations to 1717, 330, 2102 for winning the Central Valley Regional!

1717 has now carried the load for their alliances in both finals appearances of very competitive regionals this year. It is one more bullet point in their list of dominating traits this year. They certainly bailed us out in the LA finals with our broken joystick and gyro reset issues. Definitely one of the best robots in FRC this year.

The championships just wouldn't be the same without the Beach Bots, so we're very happy that they qualified this weekend!!

Must have been easier back when we didn't have to deal with the glare on a computer screen... I wonder if someone has a picture of Stacey and I standing on our toes trying to block the sun so we could read their laptop.

Now go triple crown that regional. ;)

Hahah Thanks Eugene! I was totally stoked to receive the award!

On behalf of 1323 and the Regional Planning committee, we would like to thank all teams for coming out and supporting this event. It was a fun event.

1323:

-1717 and Amir's crew is by far one of the best robots in the nation. Amir, you guys are truly a "PowerHouse". These guys built a beautiful robot that is a scoring machine. It was great talking to you guys and getting to hang out/learn from the best.

-330, I absolutely loved talking to you guys, glad I had the chance to talk to you guys. We spent half the time joking about building arms. Glad we weren't the only ones building arms this year..

-254: You guys by far our favorite team of the event. Thank you for letting my kids hang out and ask you guys questions. In the Elims, not only did some of the mentors help coach my kids, they helped us nail some programming down. By far one of the best Elimination/teams in FRC. Really was a pleasure playing with you guys. These guys are a class act.

People:

It was awesome to finally meet: Amir (1717), Sam & Shane (330) and Tom/Pat (254).

Looking forward to playing with you guys at champs,

-RC

The CVR was a blast can't wait to see what the future will hold for the area, I love the Central Valley it is truly an awesome place to live.

Congrats to all the alliances, the matches were tons of fun to watch, and I had a blast helping out at the practice field before the elimination rounds, everyone was able to have sometime on the field, and I could tell that it helped on the actual field. Can't wait to get more involved in the regional for next year.

I want to thank 1717 for taking time to talk to some of our CAD team and give them a hands on look at the swerve drive.

Team 330 is one of my favorite teams of all time and it was awesome to compete with you guys.

It was also great to get to know team 1678 a lot better, you guys were next to us at both Sac and CV, you guys have a great robot and I can't wait to see you guys again.

Almost ready to begin posting full field match video, but there seems to have been no Twitter feed for the event. Anyone know why, or where there may exist such information? If not, I'll just go ahead with posting with match scores only...

I believe there was an issue with the school firewall. The Tweeting feature was not tested early enough. Someone please do correct me if I'm wrong, I heard this second hand.

The Sacramento Regional wasn't Tweeting either. 604 talked to the field crew about it, who then called up Manchester and still couldn't resolve it. They later said it was a firewall issue. IMO, firewall seems unlikely since the webcasting computer could access Twitter (and because college campuses don't usually block sites like Twitter). But I don't know. =\
