What are some things your MCs say? Jokes, facts, etc.

Also something interesting, how about some new things for our MCs to say? After watching Mark Leon (#1 MC ever) at 3 regionals, I found he often says the same thing, over and over again, and this sounds like it happens with other MCs.

To start: Mark Leon's motto is "Do the math, save the world".

He enjoys math jokes.

Well firstly, he is not the best and needs more then one tag line...

I'd rather hear more about the teams and such then one tag line each match.

How about how many years a team has been in FRC, how they got there, how many students?

This comes from one of our local ones, he does a survey of all the teams and gathers a lot of information for the announcing of teams. It's great to hear all this extra stuff instead of just a tag line.

I'm putting in my vote for Karthik's Finals introduction today at GTRw. It was intense, well delivered and very exciting. And he does that epic kick thing, which is really cool to watch, especially from behind the glass. He knows alot about so many teams, and is in my opinion, one of the best MCs.

I've heard that so many times I can't help but laugh whenever he says it.

He's really a great bird calling-teeter totting-dancing-blue haired-astronaut man and I appreciate the work he does at the regionals.

This wasn't at a FIRST event (it was at a robot combat event) but I still think it holds its humor

Yoji at North Star and Duluth loves his songs. When 111 recieved an award, he had a rendition of "My Favorite Things", and 2220's EI award had a rendition of Twinkle Twinkle.

He also has excellent hats, from a 2 foot rainbow top hat to a Lorax hat to a game ball.

I like Karthik's intros, I do. He is easily one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to FIRST history.

His catchphrase though, seems to be referencing 1114 as "2008 Champions of the World!", which while they deserve every ounce of credit for that; it's really too bad that's the only time they've pulled it off. I think 2004/2005 was the last time 1114 had a robot that didn't have a reasonably high chance of winning CMP.
