PTC creo animation help
Hey everyone, I was just wondering if someone could show me how to do animations in creo. Preferably I'd like to arrange a meeting via join.me or some other screen sharing service, so you could show me hands on. I've read several tutorials, and I just don't get it. Thanks!

Re: PTC creo animation help
Take a look at this step-by-step tutorial. It is from Wildfire 3.0, but the features are very similar in Creo 1.0 and Creo Elements/pro 5.0.
http://www.eng.buffalo.edu/~llee3/Pr...orial_2010.pdf We have other tutorials, but they all require a customer account to access. If you make something nice, be sure to share :) |

Hello,
To confirm, are you looking for animation or simulation. These are two different scenarios and I want to make sure we provide the right information to you. An animation is a scenario where you might be looking at how things interact with one another void of physics or now they might have been assembled. For example, if you want to show a process of assembling things together. A simulation would take into account aspects of the model - joint used to assembly the components, gravity, forces, loads, material, etc. For example, if you want to show how your robot mechanism might throw the basketball. I would be happy to connect with you to discuss either case. Send me an email at mfischer@ptc.com and we can setup a time to talk live. Here is another Animation tutorial you can reference to help you get started. Thanks, Mark |
