Seattle team member in need of date - Robo Prom 2012

As someone who is attending Robo Prom this year in St. Louis, I am in extreme need a date...so I started thinking...what better place to find a date than Chief Delphi? :D

So here I am, putting my heart and soul out there for someone to take to prom...

A little bit about me:
  • 6'4
  • Absolute romantic
  • Robotics nerd

I know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for posting this, but oh well, it may be what takes to find that date! :)

If interested, here's my FacebooK:

Hope to hear from someone!

I had to laugh at this one! (: My team's all a chatter about who's going to Roboprom and which robot moves we're going to try out (The 'Bridge Tip', the 'I'm in autonomous mode baby - I just can't stop.') Sadly, I think we're going to go solo! Good luck with finding a date and hope to see you at Championships!

I was a bit tempted to create a CD account and a facebook account to correspond to it and then post here accepting your request but that would be mean and more importantly against the rules of CD.

Nothing good ever comes from creating a fake identity to troll someone longing for romance.1

Also, I notice you didn't specify anything about your preferred partner. I take that to mean you're open-minded and willing to entertain all comers. There is nothing wrong with that. But I can nevertheless envision it leading to various misunderstandings. Good luck.

1 Actually, that's not really true. That sordid episode eventually clarified the meaning of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act in a very important way...at least in the Central District of California.

Yes, I specifically left that open. There should be no boundaries.

What about just going as a group with your team? *cough, cough* 'Course, this is my first time going to RoboProm, but still...

You'll get the history, too...

Championships falls during prom season, forcing many FRC students to make a choice: Championship, or Prom? Some years back (2007?), while the Championship was in Atlanta, FRC 399 decided to have a "prom" for those that couldn't make their school's prom. The event grew in popularity over the next couple of years. Dress is anything from pit attire to prom attire, so teams could come straight from the pits.

So, Roboprom is prom for any robot team member at the Championship. (There is a nominal fee and a maximum capacity--see the thread on the 2012 Roboprom for further details.)

Wooow! why am i not surprised...Fritz? lol anyway i just got a few things to say.
I've known this kid for a while. We've been High Tek buddies for 2 years now and yeah he can be a hanful... but then again aren't we all? He is super funny and a great musician and pretty much the only guy on the team that would bother telling you that your hair looks nice ;) so girls, i don't think you want to miss an opportunity like this. what if he turns out to be your purple prince? you never know :D
