Re: Rookie Teams at Championship 2012
I have the final count as 62 Rookie Teams! Congrats to all of you on your success so far!
I hope you'll be able to make time to attend the All Rookie Meet and Greet on Friday at 6:15 (at the end of matches!) The event will end at 6:45 giving teams time to make it to the ball game for the first pitch! Watch for the invitation in your pits on Thursday Morning! |
Re: Rookie Teams at Championship 2012
Can't forget 4130, Devil Robotics. They're also competing for Rookie All-Star. They have a really good defensive bot.

Re: Rookie Teams at Championship 2012
Team 4188 the Columbus Corps is excited to be going to St. Louis! We will be in the Newton Division with The General, our bridge-and-shooter robot.
We can't wait to see all of you there; congratulations! |
Re: Rookie Teams at Championship 2012
I just want to say best of luck to The Suits who managed to end up in our (Curie) division! It'll be just like FLR. Hopefully... ;)

Re: Rookie Teams at Championship 2012
Rookies,
The Girls Of Steel, FRC 3504, have graciously added a post on their helpful website, Rookie FIRSTS, about the upcoming NEMO meeting at the Championship Event. Please share this information with your adult leaders. We'll see you there! Jane |

Also the teams who prepare that collateral their first year can show their progress/growth/(buzzword) from every year they have been in existence which has been very clearly shown to be a successful RCA tact. The practice of going through that style of formal presentation to judges would not do any thing but strengthen their EI/RCA's in years to come as well as improve their chances of a Champs RAS |
