FRC Team 4394 is ready to play Rebound Ruble with our "2 week dream machine"

48 has a stinger/kickstand. Simple cylinder firing vertically down. Tested/practiced, not used (yet) in actual matches.

Team 4159 is a wide robot!

Re: Galileo 2012!

3259 has a stinger (we call it a "stomper" due to its size) and we are a wide bot (we can take up as little as 25" with bumpers).

Additionally, while we are almost 60" tall, due to the design of the "stomper" we are G20 compliant (we never exceed 60"). We've practiced with it, but haven't used it in actual matches.

Galileo looks pretty good they have good michigan teams i think 33, 573, and 2337 might have a chance. They all did pretty good at MSC!!

Re: Galileo 2012!

573 is long, but with the overhang on the front of the robot we only need 29inches of bridge space if on the end (including bumper). We do not have a special balancing tool, but we have tripled before.

Re: Galileo 2012!

Please note 815 should be listed as a wide bot, 37w x 27l, and with ball feeder on the front & back. We can offset the bumpers with other teams to be more compact

Re: Galileo 2012!

Hey guys 281 is a long bot but we have mecanum wheels so we can be long and also a moving turret shooter so we can shoot long (for what it is worth) We have a bridge lowering arm that we are working on so we can put on the bot upon arrival. We look forward to competing with all of you

Edit: I don't know very much about what teams have have a triple balance dingus since many probably have added them at competitions, but here's a short list (of robots that I know for sure have a dingus) that people can add on to: 25, 33, 148, 2054, 2337, 3322. 1718 has brakes on their train that stop robots from sliding around on the bridge; this turned out to be very useful for triple balancing at MSC. Wow, I don't even know if fellow Michigan teams like 1918 and 573 have these devices. Please add on to this list!

We have had a kickstand on our robot since Troy, although we have triple balanced without any form of balance assist in less than 20 seconds (with 85 and 910). Our kickstand has also been tested, and we have a triple balance with it (with 4002 and 453). We *should* have some other tricks up our sleeves for next week though ;)

Ok, Galileo, let's fill this scouting sheet out!

I remember people who came and took pictures of our robot but where did you find these images? I'm just really curious. Haha Thanks

Re: Galileo 2012!

Hey, we might be getting a bit cluttered here, but can we also get type of drivetrain along with the other info on each bot?

For example, 48 is 6WD (key info to know).

Optional info: 2-speed, 8" pneumatics, no center drop

*****

The difference between a 4WD wide and 6/8WD wide is not insignificant where bridge balancing is concerned.

Of course, if we'd start a Galileo pictures thread like the others, maybe a lot of that info would be self-explanatory from the pics!

EDIT - OK - the Google Doc linked in Post 56 above is awesome. We should all be editing that. Thanks!

Just saw the video of 3322 shooting 6 balls in auto. Clever I loved it.
