Re: Pictures of Curie!!

not the great picture, but it's the best one I could find for 1741's robot from BMR.

Octocanum drive train (switches between mecanum and traction wheels)
Vision auto-targeting shooting
Speed controled shooter wheels with adjustible angle for long/close shots
Reliable hybrid shooting for center or offset shooting
can lower bridge with appendage and balance

Re: Pictures of Curie!!

Team 1507 is excited to join Curie with our entry for this year's game, Zeus. Zeus is 33 and 2 through 2 regionals, with 2 number 1 seeds and 2 blue banners.

Picture here: http://www.warlocks1507.com/gallery3...riday/IMG_0936

Some Facts:

Drivetrain: 6 wheel drop center drive, with kit wheels geared for 12fps. There is also a set of small idler wheels located between the middle and front wheels, ensuring that we can reliably hang the front third of our robot off the bridge. Also, our robot has mechanical brakes (literally bicycle breaks) powered by a window motor that greatly assist in balancing.

Arm: Powered by an AM Gearmotor with a sprocket reduction, our arm doubles as a ball pickup and bridge manipulator. Our arm gives us plenty of power to bring bridges down easily, as well as widening our intake for balls.

Elevator: Continuous elevator, capable of holding 3 balls, including a "singulator" to index balls and feed consistently.

Shooter: Single axle, hooded shooter with 120 degrees of rotation on a turret, upwards of 80% accurate shooting 3s from the key and 100% accurate shooting 2s from the fender.

Hybrid: Capable of scoring 2 balls and bringing down the coop bridge, or getting fed and scoring 4 balls. One version of 4 ball hybrid shown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AH4bZgZIBa0. We are also able to be fed and shoot 4 balls without pushing the other robot.

Good luck to everyone else in Curie, and we'll see you on the field!

Edit: Haha forgive the double post, that was entirely coincidental.

2914 is here.
We go over the bump, can lift and lower the bridge fast, and can change a bent axle in under 6 minutes.

3847 Triple Balancing

Our stingers let us get on to the bridge very easily. Even if only our back wheels are touching the bridge we can continue to drive on to the bridge and get it balanced.

Surprisingly, our photographer never gave us the photos of the robot that he took. In the mean time, here is a photo from Chesapeake regional back in week 2.
