I was just wondering, does anyone know if FIRST has come up with a name for this years competition yet? If so what is it?
Good Luck all,

what team 246 submitted:

'Ideas for names of the competition

- Hangin' Tough
- Lego My Ball!
- Barnyard Commandos (explain: 'Everyone's fighting to get to the trough' - Joe)
- Road Rage 2K or Ramp Rage 2K
- Hang out
- Hang 10 (our personal favorite)
- Bumblebee Ball
- Alley-oop
- Balls to the Wall
- Ball Battle
- Hang 2K

Our one request: we can deal with the 2K stuff, nothing with the word millenium though!'

We noticed that the names from the past years were all either one or two words only, and either alliterative or rhyming.
Here are some we suggested to FIRST:
Black Plaque
Goal Gallows
Hang On
Hung Up
On Ramp
Off Ramp
Ramp Fever
In Limbo
Hang Tough
Ball Squall
Bar Brawl
Ball Brawl
Jungle Gym Mayhem
Rubber Bumpers
Ball Bedlam
Trough Turmoil
Black Balled
Hangman (Hangperson?)
Ramp Rage (too similar to a former name, I think)
Yellow Fever

Maybe it'll have something to do with the reverse scoring logic (i.e., winner triples loser)...
