CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
Happy Championship Week!
The scores after the last round: Code:
Taylor 137http://chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/31471 As always, the deadline is nominally Saturday at midnight Eastern. (I think I should be in the Eastern time zone again by then!) As is tradition, find me at Championship and you can enter in person; 2815 is on Archimedes. Go! |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
Sure, the New Zealanders are smart, but everyone knows the true genius is coming from the Kiwi on that guy's head.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
extract from news article : ..."Most leaders lead by communicating well with others then helping them do it. Then there are those who simply do and have everyone else follow. However, Today I met a unique kind of leader. This bird simply sits on heads and watches, and those he sits on know exactly what to do. This bird knows it all and seems to teach by letting others learn. When asked about this leading strategy, a foreign exchange student from New Zealand that this grand bird helps lead said; 'you know, he never speaks and never moves on his own. Most think he is a stuffed animal he is so small and lazy. Is there any better way to observe?'"...

It's all fun and games until someone hits the kiwis with the trackball launcher. Then it's bowling!

If only we had brought tools, we might be able to fix this thing

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
Student 1: Now line up those two holes...
Student 2: That's impossible! Even for a kiwi. Student 1: It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two millimeters. Student 2: Then man your robots. And may the Force be with you. |

Even the hat is holonomic.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
All was going well, until the MOE safety captain realized the New Zealanders had installed it upside down!
("Looks fine to me, mate") |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
The kiwi's are shown here installing the sideways guillotine mechanism on the robot. It seemed like an excellent strategy to "slice" through the competition. Unfortunately, the balls for Breakaway were a bit bigger than the pictures that they had seen and all didn't work well.

Unlike its cousin, the brain slug, the brain kiwi helps its victim in building robots.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
The duck on top of the guy's hat is the real brains behind this operation.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
Kiwi#1 "Look at that scratch"
Kiwi#2 "That's not a scratch, it's a small etching! hmmmm 'BillFred was here'" Kiwi#3 "Who's BillFred?" Lan: <sigh> " A guarantee you'll end up on ChiefDelphi" :D |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #407
MOE's robot turns green with envy at the though of where these New Zealandic students have traveled from.
