PSA: Ditch Spring/Split Lockwashers for good

Confirming what many automotive- and aerospace-minded have known: spring lock washers are garbage and you shouldn't use them.

This came up as part of a project I'm doing at work, where people who should have known better specified split lock washers in a critical application.

Edit: much better to use Nylok nuts or nord lockwashers in critical applications, IMO.

I didn't know that... I recently used a couple on a personal project... if I have issues I now know where to look...
