CMP 2012 Hot Matches
 

With the release of the schedule, let's start a thread on the Hot Matches for the 2012 Championship Event.

These are matches where powerhouse teams are allied with or competing against each other in critical matches that will have an effect on their rankings.
This will help those watching the webcasts to more productively waste their day when they should be working. :)

Newton 15, 2/3 of the CVR champs reunite. 340 goes up against them. Should be entertaining.

Match 62 on Archimedes tomorrow morning should be interesting. Blue alliance has 3 robots with top 100 OPR

A couple Newton matches that should be good. I definitely missed a lot though. I used the Bold for the pre-competition favorites and the italics for the teams that werent talked about but had decently high OPR's (15+ range normally)

Newton 38 had 2/3 of the Arizona champions and Newton 39 had 2/3 of the Detroit District Champions.

Well, looks like Archimedes matches 16, 24, 38, 52, 79, 98, 107, 132, 142 are the HOT matches... ;-)

I'll only speak for the Newton matches since I don't have any info about other teams... but the following have predicted* match sums of over 110:

Any match that 2415 plays in. Looks like 82, 125 and 145 could be especially good. It's interesting that no-one has noticed 2415. They currently have the high score on Archimedes, and I expect them to be a top pick. They have outscored pretty much every team on Archimedes. Not to mention that they are fun to watch.
