CMP Awards

I just wanted to put up a thread, for a list of teams, and which awards they won:

180, 25, 16: World Champions
1114: Chairmans
1717: Creativity Award
192: Autodesk Animation Award

This is correct, and 3929 won Rookie Inspiration. Others:
Spirit-233
Industrial Design-33
Creativity-1717
Quality-2056

That's all I remember off the top of my head.

Re: CMP Awards

1629 won Engineering Inspiration.
3132 won Entrepreneurship.

I'm 99% sure it was...
3302 won Judges Award.

but I could be wrong. I know 3302 won something.

Re: CMP Awards

Over a hundred thousand hours, more than 30 MILLION dollars spent, the event culminating a season of hard work by three thousand teams of more than 40 thousand people culminating in four hundred teams arriving at one location to be crowned champion.

And yet to find out who won awards I need to look for an obscure Chief Delphi thread that has (some) of them listed.

Come on FIRST, you can do much, much better than this.

The USFIRST website software has the ability to post the results, just a few hundred keypresses, just over 2 dozen mouse clicks and *POOF* we can be congratulating the best of the very best.

That's amazing, seeing as 3302 wasn't even there. Maybe 3322? I guess we'll have to wait for the official list to come out.

Give FIRST a break. They have many other issues to figure out, and champs only finished just yesterday. I would be willing to bet that there will be awards posted soon enough on usfirst. Just give it time.

3132 won Entreunpeur award, exuse bad spelling

Re: CMP Awards

In addition to the previous ones mentioned, 973 won Engineering Excellence. 862 won Autodesk Excellence in Design (correct name?). I think from this list Gracious Professionalism is the only one missing...sorry I can't remember who won that...

I'd rather not give it time, for 60+ regional matches and district events, awards were posted within an hour of the end of the event. Championships shouldn't be special and take lots of times to figure out how to post them. It's all online, so it's easy to do.

Can someone start a thread for the Woodie Flowers Winner?

Thanks!

3322 didn't win anything. But we wish we did. :D

And for many an event, during the event, as the award is announced. The only awards I've been able to find on FIRST are the divisional awards (and only for Curie and Galileo at that). Einstein match results? Har--only one match is up. And that's something that would normally go up within seconds after a match ending.

It's 24 hours+ after the event ended. I really don't want to go digging through page after page of emptiness to find all the awards to score Fantasy FIRST...

Yay, only 48 hours after the event they have most of the winners listed, only a few more to go!

I would like to take this time to congratulate Earl for Woodie his awesome success in the prestigious Woodie Flowers Award. We are so proud of him! I'm pretty sure I was in tears for half an hour after the award was announced. Team 2614 will be forever grateful of his dedication.
