I will dish the dirt on CD 5 and tell you that we have put bumpers on all sides. All that talk of 20 mph robots have spooked us a bit. Based on the photos on the net, I have to guess that we are on the minority. So... The cat will be out of the bag soon enough. Why not vote in the poll and tell all on the Chief Delphi Forum? Do tell. Joe J |

If any robot can clock even 20 FT/SEC within the playing field boundaries, Joe will eat his hat - the prickly one from last year's Rumble. Won't you, Joe? Dodd |

The prospecters are surounded by banditos who claim to be Federales (federal police) who demand that the prospecters come out. The prospectors wisely demand to see their badges and one of the banditos utters the famous line as he starts shooting. |

I know the answer, is there anyone else that has it? I will give the answer or confirm in a few days. |

No Bumpers Here... too Much Weight

No bumpers here. We had some plans to put some on.... but we were sooo over weight that we even lost some of our agility, let alone add bumpers. As far as 20 mph robots.... it looks like no one is quite there... we're only about at 8 mph, only when we really must be! I still think that there will be some 'bots around 10 mph. And I wanna see how they did it! Laters, Andy B. |

We had to lose a few motors to make weight, so there was definately no room for a bumper! Lora |
