Please Post your SmartDashboard Extensions!
 

Hello Everyone,

My name's Joe Grinstead, and I'm a mentor for 3504.

I wrote a lot of the core of SmartDashboard, including the extension stuff. I'm happy to see that many of you are writing custom extensions, but what I was really hoping for was that you guys would start sharing them around.

Please post them! Have fun distributing your .jar and seeing other teams using them. Maybe your extension just makes the SmartDashboard better in general, post it! If you enjoyed it, other teams would too.

My hope would be to see many awesome flavors of the SmartDashboard going around.

On a related note, what apis would extension programmers like to have added to the SmartDashboard? My goal is to set you guys free to do whatever you want.

On a final note, I do not represent WPI and you should not interpret this post as WPI asking teams to post their code.
