Now you know everything I know about it; I'm not associated with the event, just searching for places that my wife has family or friends, and oh coincidently has a robot competition going on that I might stumble into.

I can tell anyone that might be interested in attending that this is probably the most fun robot competition you could go to. It's small, but it's energetic and competitive. A GREAT way to drive new drivers! And the hosts really know how to put on a fun event!

I sound like an infomercial... weird.

744 will definitely be attending this event, unfortunately I probably won't be able to go with them :(

As far as I know yes it has. Just go to the contact tab on the website and it should be there.

We regret to announce that this year's Tempest 'N Tampa off-season event has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict with the venue. We would like to thank all the volunteers and teams that have signed up already this year for all of their support. While this is an unfortunate occurrence, we would like to encourage everyone to participate in the other two Florida off-season events to ensure that our local FRC community continues to grow. The dates and contact information for these events is listed below. For those teams that have already submitted payment, we will be reaching out to you individually to arrange for the refund.

I love TNT so I will really miss it this year. However it does free us up to ride the train up to SCRIW which is the same weekend. I invite all the other FL teams to come with us

As a leader of That Other Southern Robotics Event Happening October 13, I groaned when I heard TNT was the same day as SCRIW II. Even still, I have to second George--every TNT I've been to has been a knockout event, and I hope that they can pull it together in 2013. :)

Bumping up an old thread I know but I figured it would be better than starting a new one, does anyone know if TnT will be back this year?

I"m pretty certain there will be an event in Tampa in October but it won't be TNT. It will be a multi day event with all levels of FIRST. More later

What venue would it be? USF or University of Tampa or somewhere else?
